Today, business needs and technology evolution grow at an exponential rate. Trying to drive complex projects without a methodological approach is like giving an answer without listening to the question.

There are two simple ways to use the approach:

  • TOP-DOWN: going down each level, we ask ourselves: how can we do things better (optimise, accelerate), make things more reliable, while preserving the value objective of what we are doing? This way ensures that all of the implemented tactics support the value objective.
  • BOTTOM-UP: for each capability of the solution, we ask ourselves: for which value gain are we performing this activity? This way ensures that each tactic contributes to value construction.
